Job Overview:

The Systems Administrator role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, patching, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. Candidate will be supporting O365 technologies (Exchange, Teams telephony, E-Discovery, Entra AD) along with Windows VMWare, DNS and DHCP. The Systems Administrator will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.

Responsibilities

  • Receives work assignments through the "ticketing system" or from Lead Administrators or management.

  • Performs Windows server OS installation and maintenance tasks. These tasks range from patching to more complex issues

  • Monitor and analyze system logs, alerts, and reports to identify and resolve issues.

  • Provides advanced problem identification and resolution support services as well as performance monitoring and capacity planning support.

  • Ensures our enterprise directory and collaboration infrastructure's security, availability, performance, and scalability.

  • A point of contact for internal customers, providing technical guidance and support for collaboration and directory services offerings.

  • Required to provide On-Call support during off-duty hours on weekdays, weekends and holidays on a scheduled/rotating basis.

  • Collaboration/Microsoft 365 and Windows Directory Services administration.

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365, Power Automate, Microsoft Purview eDiscovery cases, and other related technologies.

  • Administer Microsoft AD with DNS, DHCP, User Creation and Group policy

  • Support and administer Proofpoint email gateway and security platforms.

  • Knowledge of email delivery principles and authentication, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, etc.

  • Identify, assess, and prioritize security vulnerabilities in Windows or Linux server environments.

  • High-Level critical user terminations (Sr. VPs, CXOs, etc.) on immediate basis

  • Exchange Resource Room management for bookings

  • Ample knowledge of eDiscovery tools and familiarity with Boolean searches.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or engineering related field or equivalent work experience

  • 4 to 6 years of combined related work experience

  • 2+ years of working experience in O365, Azure AD/EntraAD

  • 1+ years working experience with Azure Cloud.

  • Proficiency in operating system, software, and hardware installation / configuration

  • Intermediate knowledge of Networking (VLAN, sub netting, routing and switching)

  • Willing to work under different technologies and take up new technology responsibilities outside the core skills

  • Basic knowledge on any scripting like Python, Bash Shell, PowerShell, etc.

  • Ability to interact with various levels of professionals.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

  • Ability to act independently to drive IT goals and changes

  • Advanced troubleshooting methodology

  • Ability to judge priorities and adjust their work accordingly

  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Proofpoint including SPF, DKIM, DMARC

  • Good experience with Windows or Linux system administration and support

  • Good Knowledge on ticketing tools like ServiceNow.

  • Provides a positive and open working environment.

  • Proficiency in windows or Linux Server OS and softwaretroubleshooting.

  • Knowledge in Cloud Technologies - Private, Public, Hybrid, IaaS+, PaaS, SaaS.

The salary range for this position is: USD $70,189.98 - $85,810.01

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
