Your tasks

The Focus Account Manager (FAM) will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and implementing new business opportunities with assigned focused accounts that are critical to the strategic growth of TUV SUD's medical device business primarily within the America's. This role is central to driving revenue through a deep understanding of customer needs, leveraging cross-functional resources, and establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including VP and Directors, technical, financial, and operational leaders within the customer organizations both centralized and decentralized. The FAM will lead the entire sales process, from opportunity identification to contract closure, working closely with sales teams, market segment managers, lab staff, and certification management teams across regionally and globally.

This role is pivotal to TUV SUD's success in expanding its medical device testing business and requires a proactive, strategic thinker with a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Strategy Development and Execution:

Develop, implement and adjust customized account strategies for each assigned global account to achieve revenue targets and increase share of spend in the medical device testing market and that speak to the customers needs.

Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and achieve customer satisfaction within assigned accounts, including C-suite executives, technical, financial, and operational leaders.

Develop and present tailored value propositions and solutions that meet customer needs, demonstrating TUV SUD's expertise and capabilities.

Lead and update the CRM system on the entire sales process, including prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting needs assessments, developing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.

Conduct regular business reviews with customers to assess satisfaction, address concerns, and identify opportunities for service expansion.

Act as a liaison between the customer and internal teams to ensure clear communication of customer needs, expectations, and feedback. Must be able to take complex customer problems and turn them into clear actionable items.

Track and report on key performance metrics, including revenue growth, customer satisfaction, account penetration, and market share making adjustments as needed to meet or exceed objectives and prepare monthly management reports on progress and barriers

Your qualifications

Bachelor's degree in the life sciences or business preferred

Proven track record in sales and account management, preferably within medical device testing or a closely related industry.

Strong understanding of medical device regulations, testing processes, and certification requirements.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to work effectively across regions and cultures, with a willingness to travel as needed.

Proven track record to work in a matrix environment.

Ability to travel up to 50% of time
