A Brief Overview

The UHFC Inventory and Logistics Coordinator will support the necessary work of fertility administration and lab teams. This work is including but not limited to IVF cycle coordination, SART data entry, specimen logistics, maintaining patient records and consents and communication with patients and external vendors The UHFC Logistics Coordinator will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work at a rapid, but accurate pace while collaborating with others.

What You Will Do



  • Engaged participant in all required departmental meetings including, but not limited to the daily noon meeting, core lab meetings, and the Fertility Impact Team (FIT) meeting.
  • Responsible for updating cryo-inventory after shipping/discharging frozen tissue specimen.
  • Responsible for checking Engaged MD (for consents and ReproTech forms) before patient cycle start.
  • This role will play a critical role as the final safety check for patient IVF cycle starts.
  • Responsible for updating Physician, care teams and patient chart with PGT test results from external vendors.
  • Responsible for updating PGT test results in SART database after patient IVF cycle has been completed.
  • Responsible for ensuring all cryo-consents and ReproTech forms are complete and uploaded into appropriate repositories.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating data repositories for all genetic material and documentation from outside agencies as indicated.
  • Responsible for generation of SART
  • Responsible for tracking analytics specific to Cycle Start arrangement- weekly volumes, PGT requisitions, treatment plans, consents and Boarding Pass completion.
  • This role will play a critical role in helping to maintain lab QC and ensure regulatory compliance standards are maintained at all times (CAP, CLIA, DNV, FDA, etc.).

  • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
