Customer Service Representative - Meza, AZ

SemiTorr Group, Inc. is a leading sales and distribution company for gas and fluid handling systems and components supporting the High Purity, Sanitary and Industrial markets. Our family of products includes process equipment, pumps, tubing, hoses, fittings, valves, filtration, and instrumentation.

SemiTorr is a Subsidiary of FloWorks USA LP, which is a privately held company located in Pasadena, TX.

As a Customer Service Representative you will be responsible for performing a variety of customer service and inside sales functions. This position answers customer calls, answers customer questions, research working with other internal departments, this position is required to fulfill customers' requests for technical information, order updates, facilitate order expedites, resolve any problems, and find solutions when needed. Must be knowledgeable of the organization's policies, procedures, practices, products, and services.

Some of the exciting things you will do in this role...

• Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, or returns

• Communicate with customers regularly to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction

• Provide feedback to outside sales representatives and management regarding customer service/satisfaction issues, pricing or availability concerns, competitive issues, and any other pertinent topics

• Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items

• Obtain accurate information from vendors relating to shipment dates and expected date of delivery

• Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery, expedite as needed, and communicate schedule and delays to the customer

• Determine customer requirements and expectations to recommend specific products and solutions

• Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the distribution team

• Follow company policies and procedures

• Always present a professional image to customers and vendors

• Assist in warehouse responsibilities

• Understanding warehouse receiving/shipping procedures

• Perform other duties as assigned

A must...

• HS Diploma or GED required

• Minimum 1 year of computer experience required, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows products

• Minimum 1 year of office experience

• Telephone etiquette

• Customer service

• Excellent follow-up and organizational skills

• The ability to "self-start" and work independently

• Computer literacy
