Marketing Manager - Retail Channel
Location: Hatfield, PA

At Clemens Food Group our Marketing & Communications team is at the heart of building our brands across retail, foodservice, business-to-business, and national account channels. We are proud of our flagship brand, Hatfield, and other emerging brands like Premium Reserve and Farm Promise. As we grow, we're looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager to align our brand goals with our retail partners and drive innovative retail solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Annual Marketing Strategy



  • Develop and align the annual retail marketing plan with brand and customer strategies
  • Collaborate with the retail sales team to set marketing goals and volume targets
  • Define marketing tactics that support our strategic objectives and communicate these clearly to stakeholders


Performance Monitoring



  • Track, analyze, and report on marketing performance versus plan
  • Manage external agencies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Measure campaign effectiveness, share insights, and optimize to boost ROI


Strategic Leadership



  • Lead the strategic planning process to drive brand and private label growth
  • Generate actionable insights on products, consumers, and the competitive landscape in the retail channel
  • Build and maintain relationships with marketing and advertising touchpoints of key customers
  • Oversee category-specific brand positioning, including product innovation pipelines


Execution and Collaboration



  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement marketing strategies and product launches
  • Work with Category Management and Insights to conduct consumer research
  • Support the retail sales team in creating opportunities with key customers
  • Manage customer-specific marketing programs, ensuring all elements and timings are executed seamlessly
  • Deliver engaging presentations and product training to support our retail partners


Corporate Participation



  • Engage in corporate initiatives, such as training, development, and DE&I sessions
  • Represent CFG in industry events and community outreach initiatives


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
  • 5-7 years of marketing experience, ideally with a customer-focused approach
  • Knowledge of food marketing, consumer behavior, and retail trends (including omni-channel)
  • Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (5-10%)
  • Positive attitude, team player, and lead by example
