University Research Services & Administration Associate Director, University Research Centers Georgia State University The University Research Centers (URCs) conduct a variety of research involving translational research in neuroimaging, behavioral neuroscience, diagnostic technology, neuroinflammation and cardiometabolic diseases, and other areas. The centers involve faculty from a variety of colleges and departments on campus. Their research is funded primarily by federal agencies and not-for-profit organizations and continues to expand each year. The URC researchers brought in over $32 million in sponsored funding in Fiscal Year 2024. This position will join the team of research administrators and project coordinator supporting the URCs. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Associate Director of the University Research Centers Support Team. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight for all aspects of research administration, ensuring compliance with regulations, optimizing operational efficiency, and supporting the research objectives of the URCs. The Associate Director will manage the URC support team, work closely with the faculty in the centers, and the administrators in the centers. Additionally, the Associate Director will play a key role in fostering a culture of excellence in research administration practices. All of the job responsibilities require independence, decision-making, and exercising judgment. A CRA, CFRA, or CPRA is preferred. This position is currently remote; however, must be available to work in the office as needed. Key Position Responsibilities:
