The Marketing Technology Director's mission is to improve the effectiveness and performance of the marketing function, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of marketing by integrating cutting-edge technology with strategic initiatives. Reporting directly to the VP, Revenue Marketing Operations, you will drive the development and implementation of our advanced marketing technology stack. Your expertise will empower us to leverage innovative tools and processes that amplify our marketing efficiency and effectiveness. This role is ideal for a visionary leader who thrives on utilizing technology to magnify marketing success, boost customer engagement, and deliver superior business outcomes.

What you will do



  • Act as the technology platform owner for all Marketing systems within the broader MarTech portfolio, encompassing HubSpot Marketing Platform and CMS, Salesforce, and other integrated technologies
  • Manage and mentor a direct report, fostering professional growth and development
  • Interact with corporate IT counterparts and functional operations teams for alignment and technology integration
  • Oversee website dev operations with the assistance of a dev agency; collaborate with various departments to ensure project output aligns with business requirements; ensure the website aligns with brand and business objectives, enhancing overall marketing efforts.
  • Work cross-functionally with colleagues to align on technology best practices, user requirements and adoption


  • Coordinate with the Creative and production teams to meet production SLAs and support the technology infrastructure
  • Support the Senior Director of Reporting/Analytics and drive data analytics and reporting to provide actionable insights for decision-making and identification of opportunities for improvement
  • Lead evaluations and vendor selection, contract renewals, including translating business requirements into technical process specifications, onboarding, implementation and eventual management of the selected solution(s) including internal training and administration
  • Actively explore marketing concepts, frameworks, methods, and techniques



What you will bring



  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science or related field
  • 8+ years' experience developing, executing and managing comprehensive technology strategies within marketing departments
  • Proven experience with Salesforce and HubSpot along with a strong knowledge of web and digital platforms
  • Experience implementing and overseeing a lead management operation, particularly in the areas of workflows and service-level agreements
  • Experience managing a team including external partners and contractors in a fast paced, heavily matrixed organization
  • Expert attention to detail, objective problem-solving attitude, and a strong willingness to learn
  • Good balance of marketing, operational, and technology functional skills with the ability to understand the marketing vision and capability needs and translate business needs into technology requirements
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement; awareness of current and future industry trends, technology and best practices related to marketing
