Senior RF Engineer - TS/SCI

American Systems is looking for an RF Engineer with an active Top Secret clearance or higher to join our Team!

A week in the life of an RF Engineer:

• Capture, characterize, and identify RF and IR modes of communications.
• Measure transmitter and receiver center operating frequencies (or operating bands), to include the receiver pass band sensitivity, symbol rates, and signal structure.
• Measure and identify modulation and instantaneous bandwidths, analyze, demodulate, and decode signals in order to extract underlying intelligence (data, voice, or other).
• Help the team determine maximum operating distances on wireless devices
• Develop standardized demodulation and decoding tools and techniques for commonly encountered signals.
  
  

• Active TS/SCI
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or an applicable technical field
• 10 or more years of experience in RF engineering and RF/signal measurement
