Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Student Assistant for the department of Medicine at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

The Lab is seeking a Student Assistant to provide laboratory and administrative support for its research in inflammatory bowel diseases. Working under supervision, the Student Assistant may perform technical research activities within the laboratory; manage paperwork and research files, organize study specimens, and assist in data entry.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

  • Keeps neat, thorough, and up-to-date records of procedures and experiments using paper and/or electronic platforms.
  • Works collaboratively and independently with lab mates, as well as other staff and researchers within and potentially external to Rutgers.
  • Attends and actively participate in regularly scheduled group research meetings and discussions.
  • Completes paperwork and organize physical and electronic files and databases.
  • Writes and/or manage recruitment posts for human subjects.
  • Assists with data collection for animal experiments, assist with data entry and analysis.
