Job Title: Payroll Analyst

Location(s): Somerset, NJ

This position is directly responsible for supporting the U.S. Payroll Team in the efficient and timely completion of payroll processing, maintenance of employee tax withholding elections, delivery of net payments and garnishments.

Responsibilities:


  • Interfaces with various functions to address daily issues.
  • Addresses identified issues in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Ensuring compliance with identified payroll deadlines as it relates to internal controls and payroll processing.
  • Coordinate with HR Sites to ensure timely and accurate pay to employees.
  • Responsible for the preparation of adhoc payments and pay adjustment calculations for both ON-cycle and OFF-cycle payments.
  • Responsible for the preparation of import files for inclusion in ON-cycle and OFF-cycle payment processing.
  • Research and resolve employee inquiries.
  • Research and resolve Requests and Activities opened assigned to Payroll by the Employee Service Center.
  • Generates reports out of Payroll to satisfy adhoc and pay period requests to all related parties.

  • Keen attention to detail, ability to plan, organize and monitor timelines
  • Communication skills - effective, articulate and tactful communicator. Ability to express clearly and simply both written and orally, with focus on diffusing challenging situations
  • Confident and comfortable to work effectively and efficiently with large volume of numeric and text data, metrics and spreadsheets.
  • Fundamental U.S. payroll knowledge is helpful but not required


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Accounting, Human Resource Management or other relevant areas
  • Proficient with Workday
  • Proficiency in MS Suite of products - Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in Payroll, HR or other relevant fields
