High School Math Teacher - Viera High

Viera High School is seeking an experienced Math Teacher to join their dedicated team of educators. A high school Math Teacher is responsible for preparing assignments, creating engaging lessons, assessing students' competencies, collaborating with other teachers, and providing timely feedback to students.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• FLDOE Certification in Math 6-12 is required
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Starting salary: $50,450* + benefits *This includes a 3.5% raise for all instructional staff with an additional 0.5% allocated for pay-for-performance incentives.

Please note salary is based on verifiable years of teaching experience as per District guidelines.

Our voters passed a millage last November and all teachers, from zero to 19+ years of experience, will receive a supplement. The pay ranges based on years of experience, but for a teacher with 19+ years teaching, that's approximately an additional $7,849 in your pocket (pay and supplement are prorated, if you didn't start working in August).
