The Child and Adolescent Testing Service (CATS) at McLean Hospital is currently seeking a staff neuropsychologist specializing in assessments of children, teens and young adults who are experiencing neuropsychological and psychological difficulties impacting their academic, social, and/or behavioral functioning. CATS provides comprehensive assessments targeting a range of challenges including ADHD, Dyslexia, Post-Concussive Disorders, Nonverbal Learning Disability, high functioning ASD, depression, anxiety, mood disorders and psychosis. By meeting HMS teaching responsibilities, the candidate will be proposed for a concurrent academic appointment as an instructor in Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. The successful candidate should have a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program in clinical or counseling psychology, a 2-year post-doctoral position in clinical neuropsychology, and an HSP license from the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Psychologists. knowledge of special education and experience working with students with emotional challenges is required. Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills are essential. Training and experience with projective assessment preferred. General Summary Job duties will include administration of neuropsychological, academic, and psychological assessments, supervision in the post-doctoral training program, administrative duties, and attendance and presentation at clinic case conferences. Position is 24 hours per week. Qualifications
Ph.D., Psy.D. or Ed.D degree in psychology from an accredited school of psychology. Licensure appropriate to clinical discipline. All employees must possess basic computer skills to use a variety of electronic or online systems for communication, clinical and administrative purposes. Required to complete electronic medical records training, and demonstrate 80% accuracy on competency test within 30 days of hire.
