Job Description
At IPS, we are global leaders in developing innovative solutions for the consulting, architecture, engineering, project controls, procurement, construction management, and CQV of technically complex facilities, primarily in the life sciences industry. We are looking for a dedicated Procurement Buyer to join our team at any of our U.S. offices (PA, NJ, MD, MA, NC, KS). Applicants must be local to the office. In this role, you will prepare and place purchase orders with vendors in accordance with lead times and operational requirements. You will also obtain order confirmations to ensure services or materials are being scheduled per order requests and receive and process requisitions from various project teams. Preferred Qualifications
This position requires approximately 10% travel to regional offices and client sites. Travel is by commercial airline or personal automobile. Candidates must be able to move about active construction sites (a workplace where construction work is being performed). This position is a safety-sensitive position. The employee is designated for field visitations and attends activities at client sites where they work in construction, process, packaging, manufacturing, research, or other "non-administrative" areas. Heavy lifting and physical labor are not requirements of this position. IPS will not sponsor employment visas for this position.
