This individual will be required to follow policies, procedures, and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations. Follow and/ or develop, assures and maintains the quality of products and processes through standard procedures & systems (e.g., ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000 & AS9100 standards), quality audits/ review process, etc. Responsibilities are within the Quality Assurance Methods Function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines.



Major Position Responsibilities

    Prepares and implements quality assurance policies, procedures & review cycles
  • Manages internal audit program; internal & customer required audit schedules, leads audits, and creates audit reports
  • Evaluates audit findings and aids in the implementation of appropriate corrective actions
  • Maintains and improves Quality Management System and generate reports as needed
  • Creates, updates & leads Quality training as needed
  • May administer the material review boards & database
  • May also lead or support various projects as assigned


Basic Qualifications

  • Required Education: Associate's Degree OR Equivalent Combination of relevant Education & Experience
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Discipline/Major: Quality or related degree preferred
  • Years and Area of Experience (required for the role): 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Batch Testing. Inspection. Nondestructive Testing. Product QA. Quality Assurance Process. Quality Improvement. Quality Inspection. Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Critical Professional Related Technical Skills; Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
