Job Summary:
The UVMHN Supply Chain Inventory Specialist is an individual contributor supporting, as assigned, all Partners in the UVM Health Network. This position, under the direction and guidance of the UVMHN Director of Materials Management, works closely with the senior Supply Chain leaders at all Partner organizations to design, install, monitor and maintain inventory systems and practices to maximize space utilization and supply availability for internal customers while eliminating non-value added work and other inefficiencies. The Inventory Specialist works closely with Distribution, external vendors and distributors, internal MMIS resources, administrative and clinical leaders and providers, Health and Safety, Facilities, and Purchasing in the course of their normally assigned work. This position is often responsible for leading supply design projects and completing them on-time and under-budget. This position ensures adequate inventory levels are established and maintained to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost and will identify and work to implement improvements and best practices.

Education:
*Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or other relevant field is preferred.
*Supply Chain (Materials Management) certifications a plus; CPIM
*Project Management certification (PMP) a plus

Experience:
*Minimum of five (5) years of business-related experience in Supply Chain, preferably in a healthcare environment.
*Previous project management experience, preferably in a healthcare provider setting, highly desired.
