Position Title: Maintenance Technician - 1st or 2nd Shift
Wage: $25.00 - $30.00/hour Shift: 1st or 2nd Hours: 7:00am - 4:00pm or 3:00pm - 11:00pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic at a company in Elkhorn, WI. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: - Repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical failures when needed - Maintain cooling tower - Maintain oil and grease levels for machines, equipment and tools - Maintain and repair of vehicles and material handling equipment - Maintain buildings and grounds - Repair and assist with installation of new office equipment - Install and set up new machines, equipment, and tooling - Recommend preventative maintenance and machine updates Requirements for Maintenance Technician: - High School Diploma or equivalent with some advanced training in electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical operations preferred - Ability to read and understand blueprints - Self-starter with ability to work independently under minimal supervision - Ability to operate fork truck - At least three years of experience operating, setting up and repairing machines with mechanical operations - A willingness to work odd hours and overtime on short notice to ensure production equipment is operational - Ability to lift up to 80lbs teresa.considine@qpsemployment.com QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
