Position Title: Welder - 1st Shift Wage: $23.00 - $36.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm Are your skills not being fully utilized? Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Welder at a company in Franklin, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply now! Welder Responsibilities: - Pull parts to assemble, test and skid/pack per drawings, specifications and procedures - Assemble finished products from blueprints to the specification indicated on the blueprints - Prepare units for shipment - Constructs skids and boxes as required - Paints, stencils, and affixes nameplates as required - Maintain tools and equipment provided for the assembly operations - Maintain work area in an organized manner - Comply with all the ISO 9001 Quality standards, policies, and procedures of API Requirements for Welder: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment - Mechanical aptitude and functional knowledge of hand tools - Ability to read blueprints - Ability to stand at workstation for at least 8 hours per day - Ability to work with average or heavy weight materials, and/or tools or difficult work positions for sustained periods of time - Ability to lift and maneuver parts up to 50 pounds - Welding proficiency on aluminum - Good communication skills - Effective problem resolution skills greenfield@qpsemployment.com IND104 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
