Job Summary

Partner with HR and other business leads and SMEs to meet evolving business requirements and lead enhancement opportunities, gather requirements, design, develop and implement system solutions improving the employee experience.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR and other business leads and SMEs to meet evolving business requirements and lead enhancement opportunities, gather requirements, design, develop and implement system solutions improving the employee experience
  • Maintain up-to-date project documents for all initiatives that include technical details, user expectations, project goals, work effort, accountability, and deliverables
  • Continually identify areas of opportunity for automation and lead internal initiatives to implement them
  • Research issues and use independent analysis and judgment to produce solution options (including alternative solutions when necessary to address system limitations) to complex and/or controversial matters, including pros, cons, risks, benefits, costs, and unintended consequences
  • Review system configuration and design options to make appropriate recommendations for system maintenance requests
  • Create and maintains end user and system documentation
  • Maintain data integrity with frequent audits and reports
  • Transform large amounts of data into compelling visual stories to facilitate analysis and business decision-making, using data visualization tools.

Education and Experience Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 7 years of related experience

Required Skills



    • Any amount of experience creating systems models, specifications, diagrams and charts to provide direction to system programmers for HR operations in employee data management
    • Any amount of experience developing BIRT reports to deliver compensation statements, mid and year end performance review documents to the Worker profile
    • Any amount of experience building Studio Integrations through Workday Studio Eclipse, Document Transformation along with Error handling, SFTP, PGP encryption and authentication methods
    • Any amount of experience maintaining a security program to ensure the security and integrity of customer data, performing security audit, protecting against security threats or data breaches, and preventing unauthorized access
    • Any amount of experience providing orientation and training to end users for all modified and new Workday systems
    • Any amount of experience writing XSL Transformations to transform the web service (SOAP) requests to meet the requirements using SOAP UI & Oxygen XML and creating XSLT scripts for integrations to transform XML data



    This is a 100% remote position. Can live anywhere in the U.S. but must work Central Standard Time business hours.
