Position Overview

Primary Purpose of Position	The Regional Assistant Director manages a territory, including all recruiting and yield activities, within designated geographic areas. The position articulates admissions policies and procedures to students, parents, and school counselors; participates in university undergraduate admission recruitment activities, including college day/night programs; individual visits to secondary institutions; and alumni meetings; identifies, recruits, and enrolls prospective students; and reviews decisions for undergraduate admission applications.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit	The primary function of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions is to identify, attract, and enroll first year and transfer students with outstanding academic ability and potential.
Minimum Requirements	Bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Must reside in or near Cumberland County NC or Pitt County NC.
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education	Bachelor's degree or an equivalent is required; 1-2 years' experience in admissions or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field is preferred. The ideal candidate will understand the Minimum Admission Requirements outlined by the University of North Carolina System. Other preferred skills include a knowledge of Slate CRM.
