TheStrokeProgramatthe University of Minnesota seeks 2 board-eligible / board-certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a dynamic and growing group of seven specialist stroke APPs. These are two 1.0 FTE positions. Our stroke team provides longitudinal stroke care at two comprehensive stroke centers, the University of Minnesota Medical Center and Fairview Southdale Hospital, from the Emergency Department stroke code activation through discharge. Additionally, the team uses telemedicine to provide expert stroke care throughout the state. Our mission also includes leading stroke education efforts and advancing stroke treatment through innovative quality improvement and clinical research. APPs are integrated members of the academic stroke team, attending and participating in educational conferences. Responsibilitiesinclude:
