Application & Interview Process: 1. Applications are being accepted now through mid/end-October. Apply today! 2. Application review and interviews will begin late July/beginning of August. Should we select you for an interview, you will be asked to complete an on-demand video interview (powered by HireVue) as a first step in the process. 3. Once the team reviews the on-demand interview feedback, they will select those top candidates to move forward for an in-person interview with the Pharmacy team. Candidates will also be required to complete a basic math and English competency assessment. 4. Offer to selected candidates by mid-November. . 5. Begin this exciting opportunity November 25, 2024! Pharmacy Technician Trainee is actively participating in the Pharmacy Technician training program, meeting all requirements of the program. After completion of the program the Trainee will staff under the supervision of a pharmacist, with limited responsibilities in the area of practice designated by the Clinical Manager. Responsibilities will be applicable to assigned area of practice. This is a temporary role that will last up to 12 months. Major Responsibilities: 1. Provides customer service to both patients and Gundersen Health System staff, including triaging of phone calls. 6. Adheres to regular and predictable attendance. Retail Based Responsibilities 1. Receive, check, and shelve medications and merchandise in a timely manner; keep store clean and uncluttered. Hospital Based Responsibilities 1. Assist with timely delivery of prepared medications within the hospital through various means, including direct person to person delivery and through use of pneumatic tube system while maintaining pharmacy's medication management and infection control procedures, policies, and regulations. 6. Completes automation replenishments while following medication management expectations as directed by their next level leader.
