We use a combination of chemical screening techniques, in vivo microscopy, molecular biology and genetics to study problems related to meiosis and infertility. We work with yeast, C. elegans and mouse testis cultures. The applicant would be responsible for screening chemicals under the supervision of a postdoc or staff scientist. The applicant will be required to gain expertise in a number of lab methods and be responsible for general lab safety and organization. The applicant is expected to keep good lab notebooks, report to the supervisor minimally weekly and learn to be relatively independent. The applicant is expected to attend lab meetings and present results. You also may have to work with undergraduates who come to the lab during the summer. Qualifications:
