ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain services that support quantum job execution in the Azure cloud and on hardware. Build experiences that power quantum exploration and learning on Azure and as part of our public website. Author copilot agents to support users in their quantum learning and development. Write software that is robust, scalable and secure, and aligns with Azure best practices and compliance requirements. Contribute to open-source APIs and SDKs that enable interaction with quantum hardware and simulators. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team meetings to ensure high-quality software delivery. Collaborate with compiler, hardware, and quantum application teams to integrate and optimize quantum computing workflows. Drives efforts to integrate instrumentation for gathering telemetry data on system behavior such as performance, reliability, availability, and usage. Drives sustaining feedback loops from telemetry resulting in subsequent designs. Creates outputs of telemetry such as notifications or dashboards. Serve as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and participate in on-call rotations to ensure the reliability and availability of our services, implementing solutions and mitigations for the long-term health of the service. Reviews and writes root cause analysis and shares insights with the team.
