As the Riverside Underground Scholars Coordinator for Incarcerated, Formerly Incarcerated and System-Impacted Students at UC Riverside, your primary purpose is to provide comprehensive support, resources, and advocacy for students with backgrounds involving incarceration or system involvement. Your role is pivotal in fostering an inclusive and empowering campus environment that promotes our students' academic success, personal growth, and community engagement. You will provide a full range of assessments, coordination, and advice to our focus student population. You will work independently, receive guidance on complicated problems, and situations, and report directly to the Director of the program. Additionally, you will provide advice to incarcerated, formerly incarcerated, and system-impacted students; refer students to other campus and community resources and organizations; and build relationships across campus. In addition, the position will work closely with the USI organization leadership.
The full salary range for the Riverside Underground Scholars Coordinator is $51,600 - $87,000 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $51,600 - $69,300 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and verifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements. |
