Description Leidos is seeking a Senior Principal Radar System's Engineer to join a talented team of engineers and scientists within the RF & Intelligence Solutions Department. The department's goals include comprehending, exploiting, and evaluating foreign threats. The department performs radio frequency (RF) design, custom hardware builds, algorithm development, and analysis across a variety of both research and development and operational tasks. The candidate selected for this position will support projects for the DoD, Intelligence Community, and other Prime contractors. Primary Responsibilities The Sr. Principal Radar Systems Engineer duties include performing systems requirements evaluation, functional studies, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition, technical management, integration, system testing, and quality assurance. The candidate will promote development of innovative approaches, solutions, and architecture development. Frequent interaction with the customer through in-process reviews, customer visits and demonstrations are part of the role. Basic Qualifications
