Survey Coordinator II

Main responsibilities of a Survey Coordinator II are management of small data collection projects and assisting Survey Research Group staff with management of medium to large data collection projects. This Coordinator will spend approximately 50% time coordinating surveys for RAND Survey Panels. Tasks include preparing surveys for programming and providing input on survey design, testing programmed surveys, interacting with clients, communicating with panelists to encourage survey completion, participating in research design discussions, project management, recruiting and training data collection staff, some budget monitoring, some support of proposal tasks, authoring reports or client summaries. Requires a strong commitment to RAND's core values of quality and objectivity.

Some travel may be required.

Education:

BA/BS degree required. MA/MS preferred,

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience preferred.

  • Must have experience managing a data collection project.
  • Must be familiar with best practices in social science or policy research methods.
  • Familiar with at least one computer-assisted interview application.
  • Bilingual Spanish or Chinese a plus
  • Advanced users of Microsoft Office and advanced users of spreadsheets
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Location:

Santa Monica

Salary Range: $62,700 - 93,500
