Job Description

The Workforce Analyst is responsible for ensuring an efficient and effective workforce that meets the needs of the organization. This includes analyzing workforce data, forecasting labor demand, and creating staffing schedules that optimize employee productivity and organizational performance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and can work independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements
  • Create labor forecasts based on historical data and current trends
  • Develop staffing schedules that align with labor demand and employee availability
  • Collaborate with managers to ensure staffing needs are met while minimizing labor costs
  • Monitor schedule adherence and take corrective action when necessary
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Provide regular reports on workforce performance and trends
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Related Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience in business, statistics, or related field
  • 3+years of program management level experience, workforce management,related to human services in the for-profit, non-profit, quasi-governmental and/or government sectors or directly related progressively responsible work experience or equivalent combinations thereof; workforce program experience preferred
  • Expertise in using workforce management software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Extremely detailed oriented
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
  • Proficiency with other databases: Access, etc. State database systems a plus
