As a Senior Associate in our global Consulting organization, you will assist other consultants in performing client engagements, conducting primary and secondary data collection, analyzing data, and preparing deliverables and strategies to meet clients' needs. This individual may be involved in project management and may collaborate with staff in other divisions.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Understand requirements: Participates in discussions regarding client engagements to understand the client's objectives, identify how the work will be done, and understand client deliverables to be presented by the company. May participate in client meetings for this purpose.
  • Prepare proposals: May prepare drafts of proposals, incorporating specific client requirements into standard formats used for previous engagements
  • Supervise and conduct research: Identifies sources and obtains information from knowledgeable individuals, reference texts, on-line databases and other primary and secondary research and data sources
  • Data collection: Supports and may supervise the primary collection of data through development of data collection tools, interviews, assisting subjects with completion of data collection forms, and/or data entry.
  • Conduct Analysis: May perform quantitative analysis, programming, or data management activities consistent with experience and training.
  • Review findings and recommendations: Assists in using information and data to prepare specific findings and recommendations that are appropriate to client requirements. Evaluates data using appropriate quantitative methods as necessary to allow inferences and conclusions to be drawn.
  • Prepare deliverables: Prepares high quality drafts of written memos, correspondence, and reports including graphs, tables, illustrations, and text.
  • File documents: Organizes materials prepared during engagement and ensures that work papers are properly filed and stored for future access.
  • Participates in the internal evaluation of engagements including review of original work plan, budget, individual assignments, client response, and potential for future work.
  • Support internal practices: Supports functions of other company practices.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Client related: Directly interact with, or directly support external clients.
  • Expected to work on evenings and weekends as necessary to meet project schedules.
  • Travel Requirements: 10%, primarily to client and other Fortrea sites.

Qualifications (Minimum Required):

  • The Senior Associate typically holds an undergraduate degree in the humanities, the social sciences, the sciences, or business administration.
  • Master's level degree in public health, epidemiology, public policy, biostatistics, pharmacy, public policy or other relevant field preferred.
  • Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
  • Demonstrated strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in various software programs, including Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Knowledge of policy resources and search strategies.
  • Works effectively in a team environment.
  • Collaborates and works with peers to accomplish tasks assigned.

Experience (Minimum Required):

  • Although previous full-time work experience is not required, the Associate generally will have had part-time or summer employment in the health care field, with experience as a research assistant or in a comparable role preferred.

Pay Range: $65,000 - $127,000 (The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity)

Benefits: All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Regular, full-time or part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(K), ESPP, Paid time off (PTO) or Flexible time off (FTO), and Company bonus where applicable.
