Our excellent benefit package includes: Family health, dental & vision plans 401k retirement plan with company match Company provided life insurance, STD & LTD coverage Flexible spending accounts Paid Time off Competitive Pay Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician, maintains and repairs the facility and warehouse vehicles, including all material handling equipment and power equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. *Repairs:* Perform all repairs on pallet jacks, reach trucks, forklifts, forklift attachments, maintenance equipment, balers, AGVs and other warehouse power equipment to ensure availability and safe operation. Perform repairs on facility as needed. Prepare company required reports and work orders in an accurate and timely manner. Communicate with vendors as directed. Help change batteries on material handling equipment. Help ensure daily lift inspections are completed per OSHA guidelines. *Preventative Maintenance:* Carry out preventive maintenance programs for all machines and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient operation. Comply with OSHA, and other appropriate standards and regulations. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to obtain security clearance. Must have a valid drivers license. Education (preferred level) - High School diploma. or GED. Experience (the minimum level of direct experience in a similar position) - One to three years maintaining and repairing warehousing equipment. Experience welding in the repair of equipment, certified welder preferred. Experience repairing hydraulic equipment. Experience with gasoline, propane, electric, and diesel engines and warehouse equipment. Knowledge/Experience/Skills: Knowledge of troubleshooting PLC and robotic material handling equipment. Knowledge of job-related OSHA regulations. The ability to comprehend English written policies and procedures and to follow oral instructions. Maintenance Technician will need to supply his/her own hand tools. Wagner celebrated its 75th Anniversary in October 2021.
