Overview
DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join our IRS Customer Support Services (CSS) IT Service Desk team. The Junior Project Manager will work closely with the IRS Government Task Manager (GTM) to coordinate and oversee the flow of IT equipment, ensuring that asset records are updated, and equipment is deployed efficiently. This role involves managing multiple tasks, attending meetings, and providing regular progress updates to the IRS. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in workload management, basic computer support, and inventory management.
Duties & Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Active Public Trust Clearance or ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
- Completed IRS Minimum Background Investigation or ability to clear IRS Minimum Background Investigation.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience managing IT projects, preferably within the government or IRS.
- Knowledge of Aternity software, ServiceNow, eGain, Bomgar, Microsoft Office Products, and Apple IOS software.
- Experience with inventory management technology and basic computer and printer support.
- Strong communication and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage and assign tasks to other resources.
- Proficiency in data management, including updating and maintaining records in Excel spreadsheets and IRS ticketing systems.
