Global Digital Project Management Leader, AVS

As Global Digital Project Management Leader, AVS, you will lead the charge in shaping and advancing the Alcon Vision Suite (AVS) Ecosystem. You will play a pivotal role in integrating cutting-edge digital health solutions, enhancing customer workflows, and optimizing end-to-end processes across diverse global markets. As the Senior Leader, you will set strategic goals and drive the operational readiness of our global AVS initiatives. Your leadership will ensure that our projects are executed flawlessly, meeting the highest standards of excellence. You will inspire a talented team, foster collaboration with cross-functional partners, and develop robust systems to track and improve our integration efforts.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership and Vision:
a. Establish and communicate the annual vision, goals, and objectives for the Global AVS (Alcon Vision Suite) Project Managers' Team to drive performance and align with broader company strategies.
2. Project Management and Team Leadership:
a. Lead and mentor a dedicated team responsible for tracking daily activities, ensuring project milestones are met on time and in alignment with organizational goals.
b. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
3. Global Ecosystem Development:
a. Develop and maintain a comprehensive operational readiness process, documentation, and dry run testing for the Global AVS Ecosystem, integrating digital health solutions with customer workflows and end-to-end (E2E) processes. This dry run will ensure seamless functionality and identify potential issues before full-scale implementation.
b. Optimize customer workflows and end-to-end processes to enhance integration and user experience across diverse markets.
4. Continuous Improvement and Issue Resolution:
a. Develop and implement GAP analysis plans to address and resolve systemic issues identified during customer integrations.
b. Provide comprehensive reports to R&D, Digital Health, and cross-functional partners on common integration challenges and opportunities for improvement.
5. Systems Enhancement and Initiative Support:
a. Identify, evaluate, and support strategic opportunities to enhance systems, tools, and initiatives critical to the success of AVS integration.
b. Drive innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
6. Policy and Procedure Development:
a. Create and maintain departmental policies and standard operating procedures to streamline project delivery and integration processes.
b. Coordinate the remote delivery and integration of digital products, ensuring all projects are executed efficiently and on schedule.
7. Customer Engagement and Project Alignment:
a. Develop and customize Statement of Work (SOW) templates for different global regions, setting clear project expectations for Alcon's customers.
b. Maintain strong alignment and communication between the project team and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive and successful integrations.
8. Performance Metrics and Continuous Improvement:
a. Define and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to measure the effectiveness of integrations.
b. Utilize these metrics to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence within the AVS Ecosystem.
9. Global Customer Site Profile Management:
a. Develop and oversee a comprehensive Global Customer Site Profile Tool that tracks each step of the AVS Customer Integration Journey, ensuring detailed visibility and management of the process.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+0 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 5 Years of Relevant Experience
