Financial Technical Writer / Editorial Support

FI Consulting is looking for a Consultant to provide technical writing and editing services in support of its contract with the United States Department of the Treasury, Office of Financial Research (OFR).

Scope of Work
The Consultant will provide the following support including, but not limited to:

• Writing, editing, proofreading, and formatting various documents in support of the OFR's various internal and external publications including, but not limited to:
  • The annual Financial Stability Report (FSR).
  • Congressional reports.
  • Whitepapers, briefs, blogs, and other outward publications.
  • Internal operations' memos and other employee communications.
• Requires bringing a fresh set of eyes and first-rate copyediting skills
• Support the OFR with any project management needs around written publications.
• Ability to engage with researchers to understand their projects and help them focus their written reports and presentation decks
• Work with OFR leadership and researchers to develop and produce written reports conveying the methodology and findings of the OFR's research.
• Other ad hoc work as defined by OFR or the FI project manager.

• Congressional Reports
• Presentations
• Articles
• White papers
• Blog posts
• Reports
• Press releases
• E-mails
• OFR website content
• Other documents to be defined by OFR or the FI project manager

Minimum qualification:Seven (7) years of writing on matters of the financial markets (national or international), the macroeconomic trends, and statistical analysis.

Preferred Experience: Experience in addressing areas related to financial stability and expertise in guiding and developing research on the abovementioned matters. In addition, experience working in the business or finance section of a major publication.

Additional Requirements:

• Security requirement requires a US Citizen.
• Successfully pass a background investigation and drug screening.
• Remote work within the USA
