Heavy Mechanical Foreman McMillen Inc is seeking a highly qualified Heavy Mechanical Forman with a minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in the field. This applicant should be extremely detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated and must be able to think out-of-the-box to find solutions to both routine and complex construction problems while continuing to push the project forward. Prefer that this applicant has experience on heavy civil projects including work around bridges, structural concrete, mechanical equipment installation, heavy steel structure installation, and marine work. The Heavy Mechanical Foreman is responsible for monitoring progress for all self-performing work, subcontractor coordination, supervision, jobsite safety and coordination of inspections on the job site. The Foreman directs the day to day activities of the laborers and the on-going decision making pertaining to project planning and production. This position requires 100% travel.
