POSITION SUMMARY: Performs repairs and maintenance of industrial services equipment under minimal supervision in the assigned areas. Environmental Factors: slippery or uneven surfaces, working with hands in water, working closely with others, steam and hot surfaces, loud machinery environment, refrigerated 45 - 55 degree Fahrenheit environment, moving objects or vehicles, wet environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs repairs and maintenance of industrial services equipment under minimal supervision in the assigned areas. This position will encompass areas dealing with water chemistry, steam generation, various pumps, spiral freezers, ammonia refrigeration, air compressors, and dryers. An Industrial Services Mechanic must convey a basic aptitude of troubleshooting. Basic computer skills will be necessary in troubleshooting as well as entering daily data. Works from blueprints, drawings, sketches, and layouts. Performs preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment that is facility related. This position requires CIRO certification at the completion of two years of service. All necessary training materials and courses will be provided. Responsibilities:
