Job Summary:
As a full-time Embedded School Based Therapist at Ellie Mental Health, you'll share our vision for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care to youth in a middle school setting at District 197 and thrive in an environment driven by our core values of authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Preferred Master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields. Or, pursuing Master's level clinical internship/practicum
  • Candidates will have clinical licensure or be on licensure track for LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP etc.
  • Experience with completing DAs, treatment plans and clinical case notes
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 and EHR systems (Valant), including collection of co-payments.
  • Preferred 1 year of experience with children, adolescents, families

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, implement and maintain treatment plans and complete ongoing documentation.
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
  • Provide consultation to parents and school staff
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings
  • Attend school meetings (IEP meetings, Student Intervention team, etc.)
