Position Summary

Campus Office of Substance and Alcohol Prevention (COSAP) is looking
for a student employee or workstudy to assist the staff with day-to-day
office work and project-related tasks. We are looking for a responsible
student who wishes to become involved in our work and in the achievement
of our mission, and wants to learn and grow as a professional. The
successful applicant will perform varied and moderately complex duties
involving a moderate to substantial degree of responsibility and judgment,
and will possess good computer skills and a basic familiarity with the MS
Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).

The successful applicant will also create resources and informational flyers
to be displayed and handed out around the UNM campus. Manage
multiple social media accounts and update and edit the COSAP website
when necessary. Some work experience at UNM or elsewhere is desirable.
Schedule: The student will be expected to work no less than three days per
week, four would be better. In addition, the student will work at or near the
maximum allowable hours (28 hours per week).

* Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
* Skilled in graphic design and experience with primary social media
platforms
* Knowledge of social media trends desired
* Excellent organization and attention to detail
* Graphic design experience including proficiency with Adobe Creative
Suite and/or Canva
* Cascade website maintenance experience
* Competent self-starter who will take initiative and work independently.
