Summary:

The Associate HR Business Partner is a hands-on role that provides daily Human Resources support to designated business units in the Stuarts Draft facility. The role is critical in providing outstanding internal customer support. The Associate HR BP is responsible for the implementation of human resource functions with a strong emphasis on recruitment, benefits, and alignment of company practice with the company's mission and values.

Responsibilities:




  • Maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with the entire organization.
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open position; collaborates with hiring managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Conducts or acquires background checks.
  • Assists with new hire orientation.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Participate in team meetings and facilitate communication updates within the designated business units.
  • Facilitate separation activities to include exit interviews for designated business units.
  • Active participation in the Hollister Employee Activity Committee (HEAC) to include leading Human Resource activities and assist with other employee activities as needed.
  • Help drive HPS initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:




  • 2-5 years overall experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • SPHR/PHR preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience working in a team based environment a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS system.


Essentials of this role:



  • Prolonged sitting
  • Frequent telephone conference calls
  • Lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs.
  • Mobility throughout facility - brisk walking and/or standing on concrete floors
  • Requires working onsite a minimum of 4 days per week.
