Position Purpose:

Plan, coordinate, monitor, approve, and validate changes affecting software. Responsible for the consistent use of processes across application, code management, audit compliance and inventory control.

What You'll Do:

* Leads the management, monitoring, and improvement of both existing and new IT processes such code management, inventory management, audit compliance, disaster recovery, and process flows. Develop and design reporting for changes that affect software. Compile data and reporting of metrics for management review. Documents all appropriate approvals received.

* Design and write code and/or JCL for the purpose of executing algorithms for the extraction and presentation of data for standard and ad hoc reporting.

* Identify, prioritize, and analyze processes based on: A need for improved efficiency and/or effectiveness, policy or procedure change that affects how tactical work is handled (configuration management, audits, DRE, etc.), notify and consult with team leaders and team members on process issues and solutions , Proactively partner with teams to identify business improvement opportunities; on as needed basis.

To Qualify for This Position, You'll Need:

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's in a job related field OR,

  • 4 years of job-related work experience OR,

  • 2 years of job-related experience plus an Associate's degree

Required Work Experience:

  • 3 years in a similarly complex technical organization.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to identify resource needs, perform quality review, and escalate workflow issues appropriately.

  • Exceptional organizational and team coordination skills.

  • Proven ability to coordinate workflow delivery and prioritization with multiple groups.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Able to communicate information to both technical and non-technical staff, including management.

  • Strong negotiation/persuasion and analytical skills.

  • This position must be able to manage multiple work efforts, simultaneously among multiple teams to ensure the efficient, timely flow of work.

  • Knowledge of programming languages, spreadsheets, JCL and other basic coding requirements.

  • Basic knowledge of insurance industry and practices.

Required Software and Other Tools: Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office and reporting software tools.

Work Environment: Fast paced technical office environment.
