Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $15.50 per hour Shift: 3rd Hours: 11:00pm-7:30am Are you a reliable employee who values consistency in your job and are looking for an opportunity for growth? Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects, use fix & function or go/no-go gauges, utilize Rep Sample to assure visual compliance with current production parts. - Report defects and other production issues immediately to the supervisor, team leader, or quality technician. - Use grinders, following parameters and requirements. - Keep accurate part counts and box quantities per the required customer specifications. - Complete all required daily paperwork including checklists, 5S sheets, and count sheets. Machine Operator Requirements: - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally (5-10x/day) and 15 pounds repetitively (10+ times/hour). - Must be able to bend, twist, push, pull and pinch/grasp. - Must be able to push/pull 75 pounds occasionally (1x/hour). - Must be able to stand for 10+ hour shifts. - Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment. fortdodge@qpsemployment.com IND095 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
