Position Title: Pattern Repair Technician

Pattern Repair Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Pattern set up for production. - Apply date codes to patterns as required. - Put away prior day's patterns in correct locations. - Core box setup and core box repair. - Repair damaged pattern gating, risers, impressions, or sprue areas. - Add filter blocks to existing patterns. - Build and/or mount 3D printed gating systems on pattern plates. - Ensure accurate location of sprue. - Take ownership of the pattern and core box storage locations keeping the areas clean and organized. Pattern Repair Technician Requirements: - High school education or equivalent preferred. - Ability to use hand tools, drills, saws, and accurate measuring for precise locations of gating, risers, and sprues - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Ability to initiate, organize and prioritize work. - Accuracy and attention to detail required. - Ability to work in a team environment. - Frequent lifting/carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds, less frequently up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance. - Required to bend, kneel, crouch, reach, climb and walk. - Required to stand for the entire production shift and must use their hands constantly to perform this job.
