Description

Apogee is seeking a Project Scheduler to support the NC3 Contract, specifically the NCS division.

The AFNWC/NC3 Integration Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA, with an operating location at Kirtland AFB, NM. The NC3 Directorate's mission is to provide support to the Program Executive Office (PEO), the Deputy Director, Deputy AFPEO NC3, and staff for acquisition and administrative control of all NC divisions, branches, and programs. It consists of an Executive Section, Engineering (EN), Financial Management (FM), Operations Management (OM), Information Protection (IP), Contracts (PK), Cyber, Logistics (LG), the Program Execution Group (PEG), and Intelligence (IN).

The Strategic Communications Division (NCS) develops nuclear survivable terminals capable of communicating with the Milstar and Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) satellite constellations and future satellite constellations using both the Extremely High Frequency (EHF) and AEHF waveforms.

This is a full-time role at Hanscom AFB, MA.

What you'll be doing:



  • Plan, build, coordinate, and manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Provide IMS technical products (e.g., GANTT charts, and network diagrams).
  • Collaborate and incorporate key schedule requirements to ensure mission success.
  • Communicate schedule objectives, plans, and status to the customer, the project team, and management.
  • Determines requirements; develops goals and objectives to accomplish program missions.
  • Provide Earned Value Management (EVM) indicators to inform schedule risks.


Experience:

Minimum Requirements:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret Clearance
Education: Highschool Diploma
Years of Experience: 7 or more years of experience with DoD project management specifically in the area of project scheduling

Additional Experience:



  • Demonstrated ability to manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and coordinate IMS activities within the PMO

  • Understands requirements development, plan preparation, and possesses the ability to achieve results


  • Strong working Knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office Suite software and project management/scheduling applications such as MS Project


Preferred Experience:
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred but not required. PMI certifications such as Certified Associate (CAPM) OR PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)
Education: Bachelor's degree
Years of Experience: 3 or more years of experience with DoD project management specifically in the area of project scheduling
