JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Penn State Altoona Visual Art Studies program invites applications for its Spring 2025 Emerging Artist in Residence. This residency is designed to offer an emerging artist substantial time to develop a new or existing body of work. Duties include teaching one course during the Spring 2025 Semester (January 13 - May 2, 2025), serving as a resource to Visual Art Studies students, and mounting a solo exhibition in one of our campus galleries. This appointment offers a salary of $15,000(benefits not included).Optional campus-adjacent studio/living space is available,but candidates may also choose to secure their own temporary housing.
