Here's the thing: We're looking for a Junior Designer to join our team - a passionate designer ready to kick-start their career. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the Director of Brand Design to craft engaging visuals that truly reflect our alumni community. Your brilliant work will support Alumni Relations and Development (ARD), a dedicated team committed to supporting the Kellogg School of Management and fostering a welcoming, collaborative environment. Together, we'll strive for excellence in serving our esteemed institution and its alumni and friends. This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days a week in office at our Evanston campus. WHAT YOU'LL DO Create inspiring mood boards, maquettes and prototypes that spark curiosity and breathe life into our visual storytelling. Pitch concepts with passion and collaborate with team members to deliver design work that make our alumni community fall in love with Kellogg over and over again. Assist in developing striking print, digital and presentation materials that ignite a sense of Kellogg pride and connection, motivating alumni audiences to give back and pay it forward. Embrace feedback as a valuable opportunity to refine and elevate your designs, transforming them into something that redefines what's possible. Prepare files for web, print and video, along with spec sheets or design requirement documents, with meticulous care, ensuring exceptional quality that reflects our commitment to excellence. Seek and analyze competitive bids from vendors. Stay connected with the pulse of design trends through proactive research, allowing your creativity to flourish and influence. Skillfully juggle multiple projects while embracing the thrill of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced and vibrant environment. Please note: Some weekend and evening hours as needed. Target hiring range for this position will be between $57,000 - $65,000 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
