Job Description:

• Under direct supervision, the BioMed tech II installs, test, repairs, maintains, and calibrates clinical medical devices following established policies and procedures and according to manufacturer guidelines and recommendations.
• Ensures adherence to hospital and departmental policies and regulatory standards and guidelines.
• Completes Preventative Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance work orders on a daily basis.
• Performs initial acceptance of new equipment and adds assets into the database.

Requirements:

• Associates Degree
• 2 years related experience, or Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering or Information Technology, or Military Biomedical experience.
• AAMI CBET certification, Networking A+, IT Project, Cybersecurity desirable.
