CAS is currently seeking an HR Assistant for our HR team. This position will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

Position Summary:

Provides administrative, general HR, and recruiting support for the Human Resources Division. The position coordinates the numerous support activities associated with the Human Resource Services function. These activities include assisting staff with general questions, coordination of the employment process with new hire administration tasks, general office support, assisting with recruitment activities including coordination of interviews and providing administrative support for HR initiatives and projects as needed.

Job Accountabilities:



  • Coordinates logistics for the Talent Acquisition team which includes working with hiring managers, candidates, interview panelists, calendar invites, and room reservations.
  • Assists HR Generalist with onboarding activities as needed.
  • Supports HR Division with budget forecasting and invoice tracking with department related expenses.
  • Responds to internal and external HR related inquires or requests.
  • Maintains confidential information and represents the HR Division with strong professional demeanor.
  • Supports OE/OD team by pulling reporting for participant completion by Division/Business Unit.
  • Attends design reviews to support room setup, logistics, equipment, and materials for in-person engagements or spec. producer requirements, and file prep and support for virtual instructor-led engagements.
  • Partners with administrative staff as needed on logistics and catering.
  • Coordinates with external locations and facilitation teams for logistical support and contract details.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience.
  • 2+ years' experience in an HR support role.
  • Knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
  • Focus on details to ensure data quality and integrity through transaction processing and regular audits.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize with guidance; work independently or within teams and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to internal client and customer service principles.
  • Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
  • Experience with video conferencing technology.
  • Strong understanding of MS Outlook and MS Excel
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
