Position Summary The primary role of the Sales Lead is to support the Sales Supervisor in their effort to teach, train, and develop their teams and help them become proficient in the guest engagement model. This will enable their team to exceed targeted revenue budget while maintaining the highest levels of guest satisfaction as measured by guest surveys Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintain a primary focus on demonstrating proper guest engagement model behaviors, observing the behaviors of their team members and achieving their own proficiently though their individual SPH
  • Assist with duties related to sales training and sales floor leadership
  • Assist to develop and retain talent of all team members
  • Have ongoing talent conversations and develop leadership skills to build store "bench"
  • Assist team members reach proficiency and tying results to key selling behaviors
  • Supports manager to ensure all team members have completed training and effectively execute company performance expectations
  • Greet and engage guests on sales floor
  • Ensure team completes and demonstrates the ability to effectively execute to company expectations
    all new hire and ongoing training modules
  • Complete vendor/product training as required
  • Completes required training in the expected timeframe, and participates in ongoing learning opportunities
  • Actively support and contribute to the store team with the goal of helping the entire team delight guests and achieve revenue targets
  • Ensure that the stores is "Grand Opening" ready by completing the daily task list and style guides
  • Able to build and inspire store teams to achieve goals and complete standard work
  • Able to generate energy within the store through recognition and transparent in the moment conversations
  • Ability to work weekends and most holidays
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 5 years of retail experience in a direct customer interactive environment required. Big Box experience is preferred. Three years of supervisory experience required. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience in Microsoft Office programs.

Position Hiring Range

The hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position. Pay will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Pay is determined by various factors including market demand, applicable skills, work experience and education, location, company budget, and in-demand skill sets.

Compensation: $17.25 - $22.40

Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
