What you'll do

As a Senior FP&A Manager reporting to the Director of Finance you will play a vital role in financial consolidation and reporting of our government segment, supporting ~$2B in revenues. Your experience and understanding of critical metrics related to awards, sales, profit, EBITDA, cashflow, & headcount will enable you to provide significant time-sensitive data. Use your systems skills to develop and maintain reporting tools that focus on key performance indicators and drive efficiencies. Working across our multifaceted financial team, support monthly rolling forecasts and cost/profit analysis. The day-to-day

The Sr. Finance Manager is empowered to drive operational efficiencies that create customer & shareholder value while developing themselves and the FP&A team! In this role, you will:

  • Lead, build and maintain financial reporting packages on a monthly/quarterly basis for senior leadership.
  • Establish and enforce the schedule for long-range strategic planning activities to meet FP&A deadlines, and submission of all deliverables.
  • Prepare consistent, accurate, and timely analysis of financial performance (bookings, sales, profit, and cash) and early identification and communication of issues impacting financial performance.
  • Determine methods & procedures for validating forecasts, performance tracking, and analyzing staffing requirements.
  • Develop/manage complex financial models to ensure alignment with leadership, financial performance objectives, and appropriate accounting conventions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in budgeting, forecasting, general ledger, cost accounting, and project accounting.
  • Lead new projects in operational improvements & enhancing use of financial planning tools.
  • Work closely with members of the leadership team to solve complex problems and influence positive outcomes.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a high performing team positioning them to meet the needs of a growing and evolving business.
  • Liaison for segment & corporate deliverables helping to prioritize and ensure strict deadlines are met.

What you'll need

  • 8+ years "hands-on" Financial Planning and Analysis experience supporting long-range strategic planning, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecast processes.
  • 2+ years in a Financial Leadership role
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related area.
  • Robust Excel skills including the ability to summarize large data sets via formulas/tables/graphs.
  • Experience in full profit & loss statement, balance sheet, cash management, and revenue recognition concepts.
  • Understanding of indirect rate structures, labor reconciliations (supply vs demand), and over/under tie-out
  • Strong Budgeting, Risk and Opportunity, and variance analysis skills
  • Knowledge of GAAP accounting
  • US Government position. US Citizenship is required.

Salary range

$154,800.00 - $236,200.00 / annually.
For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $192,300.00- $278,800.00/ annually
