We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounting Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing and recording of accounting transactions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our financial data and supporting our mission-driven work.
  • Independently execute tasks within own area of responsibility.
  • Proactively engage with internal team members and customers to coordinate, clarify information, and resolve issues
  • Monitor own delivery for compliance with policies & procedures and escalate to supervisor as needed.
  • Guide early career team members on standard tasks within own area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.

Minimum Education and/or Training:

  • High school diploma/GED required.

Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum Requirement: 4+ years of relevant experience in a specific area of financial business operations (e.g., AP, AR, Payroll).
  • Experience in managing standard and non-standard tasks within an area of AP, AR and/or Payroll.
  • Proven performance in earlier role.

Compensation

In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $22.00 - $38.50 per hour for the role of Sr. Accounting Operations Specialist.
