Position is to perform electrical maintenance and repairs, plan and participate in electrical preventive maintenance work, schedule projects and repair work orders. Will work closely with vendors to ensure completion of contracted work across the PGA TOUR's Northeast Florida campus.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED Five years' experience in facilities general maintenance. Must have three (3) years electrical work experience in a commercial environment. Work requires knowledge of techniques, methods, procedures, and standard practices of the electrical trade, which involves the use of specialized skills which is acquired through a combination of training and on the job experience. Skill in troubleshooting electrical and lighting control systems. Knowledgeable of all functions relevant to the electrical operation of facilities and equipment Knowledgeable of the standard practices, methods, tools, codes, and materials of the electrical trade. Prior experience with project management, vendor oversight and bid review Excellent organization, time management and project management skills Ability to use tools, materials, and equipment common to the trade. Ability to read and interpret sketches, blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manufacturer's cut sheets. Must have a working knowledge of administrative office equipment and systems, such as Microsoft Office applications, work order software systems, laptops, computers, and tablets. Knowledgeable of permitting processes Skill in understanding electrical plans and recommending/developing modifications as necessary to ensure overall project compliance with applicable codes and regulatory standards. Assist in completing forms, correspondence, reports, work orders, , analyses, and other documents as requested. Good communication skills for working with coworkers and other constituents. Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License or able to obtain one. Able to safely operate company and utility vehicles such as, but not limited to, golf carts, utility carts, and shuttle carts.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Perform all duties following safe electrical work practices. Must be compliant with Lock-Out Tag Out, Confined Space, and Arc Flash programs. Installs, repairs and maintains electrical services in company owned buildings. Installs, repairs and maintains electrical outlets, lights, etc. within established parameters. Perform various preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to maintain and repair facilities electrical infrastructure, distribution equipment, and systems. This includes, but is not limited to, emergency power distribution, automatic and manual transfer switches, variable frequency drives, UPS, electric motors, circuit breakers, switches, lamps and ballasts, LED drivers and modules, and electric door operators. Apply analytical and manual skills in inspecting, maintaining, installing, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment and systems. Proficient use of electrical and electronic testing equipment and tools i.e., multimeters, meggers, power analyzers, circuit tracers, insulated hand tools. Interface with vendors/contractors to facilitate electrical system repairs or replacements. Assist with Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of all other building MEP systems. Evaluate and make recommendations on electrical loads and energy savings projects. Inspect the buildings and grounds to ensure safe, well-maintained conditions and advise supervisor of needed repairs. Responsible for proper functioning and monitoring of the Lutron smart lighting control system. Manage both electric light and daylight: control, configure, monitor, and report on the lighting for any space within the Global Home for maximum energy efficiency, comfort, and productivity. Incorporate the integral timeclock feature that enables the scheduling of lights both time-of-day and astronomic time clocks (e.g., dusk or dawn) to enhance energy savings and the safety and security of employees. Improve maintenance and simplify operations by monitoring energy consumption and identifying problems before they become an issue. Locates source of problem by observing electrical and mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. Prepares facility maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Responds to on-call and after-hours emergency situations. Special projects or other duties as assigned.
