Summary

The HVAC Account Manager Residential sales oversees residential and contractor sales of various brands of equipment, parts, and supplies. This role will be a crucial influence in securing new contractors and maintaining existing client relationships while being accountable for driving sales and maintaining a strong customer base in their territory.

Duties and Responsibilities: Account Manager Residential Sales



  • Analyzing your territory and developing, executing, and monitoring sales programs that will attract competitor accounts and new customers.
  • Create and develop long-term relationships with both existing and new customers.
  • Manage any customer issues and resolving them in a timely manner
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for customers and building long-term relationships with them
  • Proactively generating new business opportunities while developing and execute strategic plans to help grow existing customer's business.
  • Attending sales meetings with management to review monthly activities and progress or issues.
  • Ability to present and manage Watsco Ventures and digital programs.



Required Qualifications: Account Manager Residential Sales



  • Demonstrated performance history in sales and new market development.
  • Equipment, Parts & Supplies and Light Commercial HVAC experience high preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence.
  • Highly motivated self-starter that can manage time independently.
  • Strong business/problem solving skills, high sense of urgency and strong communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Excel and CRM-Sales Force proficiency preferred.
  • Process Oriented with attention to detail.



Requirements: Account Manager Residential Sales



  • Minimum HS or GED- Associate or Bachelor degree preferred
  • 3 years technical experience HVAC preferred
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Must maintain a positive attitude and have strong customer service
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must possess the ability to problem solve and multi-task
